During the wedding, parking will be available at Cortina Valley, down the street from The Break Estate. The shuttles we’ve arranged will be stopping at Cortina Valley for those that drive.

If you plan on enjoying a few cocktails, we recommend you book a room at Scribner’s or Hunter Lodge and take the shuttle to and from the wedding, as taxis or Ubers are not readily available in the area.

Arrive by Car

From NYC

  • Start in NYC: Take the George Washington Bridge or the Lincoln Tunnel to head toward the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP) North.

  • Continue on PIP North: Drive for about 30 miles and follow signs to merge onto the New York State Thruway (I-87) North toward Albany.

  • Follow I-87 North: Stay on I-87 North for approximately 50 miles. Take Exit 20 (Saugerties) toward NY-32.

  • Exit 20: After the toll booth, turn left onto NY-32 North.

  • Onto NY-23A: After about 6 miles, turn left onto NY-23A West toward Haines Falls and Tannersville.

  • Pass through Tannersville: Continue on NY-23A through Tannersville, following signs for Haines Falls.

  • Turn onto Clum Hill Road: Just past Tannersville, turn right onto County Road 25 (Clum Hill Road). Follow Clum Hill Road until you reach 441 Clum Hill Road.

Approximate Drive Time: 2 hours and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

The drive is scenic as you approach the Catskills, so leave extra time to enjoy the views! If you need gas or snacks, Tannersville is a good stop before you head up Clum Hill Road.

Arrive by Train

From NYC

Step 1: Take the Amtrak from NYC to Hudson, NY

  • Depart from New York City: Head to Penn Station and board an Amtrak train on the Empire Service or Adirondack Line heading to Hudson, NY.

  • Travel Time: The train ride is approximately 2 hours and offers scenic views along the Hudson River.

  • Arrive in Hudson, NY: The Hudson Amtrak Station is located at 69 S Front St, Hudson, NY.

Step 2: Rent a Car from Enterprise in Hudson

  • Enterprise Car Rental: The closest rental location is at 350 Fairview Ave, Hudson, NY (approximately a 10-minute drive from the train station).

  • Convenient Pickup & Drop-Off: Enterprise offers complimentary pickup service from the Hudson Amtrak Station if you call ahead to pre-arrange it. They’ll also drop you back at the train station after you return your rental car.

Step 3: Drive from Hudson to 441 Clum Hill Road

  • Driving Directions:

    1. Once you have your rental car, head south on Fairview Ave and follow signs to get onto NY-23 West toward Claverack.

    2. Stay on NY-23 West for approximately 23 miles.

    3. After passing through Tannersville, turn right onto County Road 25 (Clum Hill Road).

    4. Follow Clum Hill Road for about 2 miles to reach 441 Clum Hill Road.

Total Driving Time: Approximately 45 minutes from Hudson to Elka Park.

Important Notes:

  • Ubers and Car Services: While Ubers may be available in Hudson, they are not reliable in Elka Park or the surrounding area.

  • Ride Options: If you prefer not to rent a car, you can book a ride with one of these local services:

Our Recommendation: Renting a car is the most convenient option for this trip, allowing you the flexibility to explore the beautiful Catskills and ensuring ease of travel throughout your stay.

Arrive by Plane

FROM ALBANY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Step 1: Rent a Car at Albany International Airport

  • After landing at Albany International Airport, head to the rental car counters located near baggage claim. Major car rental companies are available, so be sure to book your car in advance for a smoother experience.

Step 2: Drive from Albany International Airport to 441 Clum Hill Road

  • Driving Directions:

    1. Exit the airport and follow signs to get onto I-87 South (New York State Thruway) toward New York City.

    2. Stay on I-87 South for approximately 40 miles.

    3. Take Exit 20 (Saugerties) toward NY-32.

    4. After the toll booth, turn left onto NY-32 North.

    5. Drive about 6 miles and turn left onto NY-23A West toward Tannersville.

    6. Follow NY-23A through Tannersville and continue toward Haines Falls.

    7. Turn right onto County Road 25 (Clum Hill Road) just after passing Tannersville.

    8. Follow Clum Hill Road for about 2 miles to reach 441 Clum Hill Road.

Total Driving Time: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Albany International Airport to Elka Park.

Important Notes:

  • The drive from Albany to Elka Park is scenic, especially as you approach the Catskills. Allow extra time if you want to enjoy the views or stop along the way.

  • Make sure to have GPS or a printed map, as cell service can be spotty in the Catskills region.
